Why do we collect your data?

The primary reason that we collect and process your personal data is to allow you to apply for and be considered for vacancies at Oxted Window Systems Ltd.

All of the information that you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of processing your application, or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements as required.

Your personal information will only be shared with the following third parties if it is necessary to process your application:

  • A contingent recruitment agency or executive search company who you are registered with and have instructed to provide interview feedback and progress on your application

  • The third party provider of any psychometric or skills testing that is required in the selection process

We will not share any personal information that you give us during the recruitment process with any third parties for any marketing purposes.

What information do we collect from you?

In order to apply for a vacancy at Oxted Windows you are required to submit a CV and in some situations a covering email/letter.

The data we collect and store will be the information that is provided by you on these documents: name, address, contact telephone numbers, email addresses, employment history and date of birth (should that be included in your CV)

We will also retain interview notes that we collect during the interview process.

How long will we keep the data you submit?

We will keep your data for a period of 12 months from the date you apply, unless we are required to retain it for a longer period by law or you become an employee of Oxted Windows Systems Ltd and we will then retain it in accordance with our employee data procedures.

How do we store you data?

Your data is stored on our secure server. Your privacy is very important to us and we will take all the precautions required to ensure that your data is treated securely and safely, in line with this Privacy Policy.

Data Security

The data that you submit will only be used for the purpose of the recruitment process. The only individuals with access to this information will be limited to those relevant to the process; recruitment and hiring managers. All data will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Your consent

By applying for one of our vacancies and/or sending in your CV to recruitment@oxtedwindows.co.uk or a direct individual at Oxted Windows, you are giving your consent for us to collect, process and use your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy.
